GeForce 8800 GTS and GTX
With nothing coming out of the AMD and ATI, Nvidia pushes out another product to take the sweet spot in the graphics market.

GeForce 8800 GTS and GTX

The G80 processor came with two options, the GeForce 8800GTX and the GeForce 8800GTS. The processor core for the GeForce 8800GTX operates at a frequency of 575 MHz and 500 MHz on GeForce 8800GTS. While the rest of the core runs at 575 MHz (or 500 MHz), the shader core has its own clock generator. GeForce 8800GTX runs at 1,350 MHz when the 8800GTS' clock speed is 1,200 MHz.

We are happy to see new cards like this one hit the market, which means people can save money by buying older hardware. In the case of GeForce 8800GTS 320 MB, it means there is a whole new price point for those interested in owning the latest DX10 based cards. The BFG 8800GTS OC 320 MB delivers some outstanding performance for around $300.
