I used this radar detector for a year now. I am that kind of guy that can't drive by speed limits, so good radar detector is what
I needed. The cobra 9780 Pro works really good on any radars, but its not going to be very good with lasers. In my 5 years driving experience, I've been shot by lasers only 5 times. Police officers say that if your radar detects laser, you don't have ANY time to slow down, but for some reason I had time. I was speeding and once they lasered me I slowed down as fast as I could and it worked. In my opinion you got about 1 second to slow down from laser though. The Cobra PRO 9780 comes with everything you need. It has case, a 12 volt hardwire kit, and a dual port cigarette lighter adapter, windishield mounting bracket, and power cord.
