Nvidia GeForce 8800 Ultra
Nvidia GeForce 8800 Ultra

Currently, it is one of the best video cards on the market, but is it worth paying 700$ for it? May be its better to go with 8800GTX for much lower price? Read on to find out...

Nvidia GeForce 8800 Ultra

You probably wondering, whats so special about 8800 Ultra? Well, the core is clocked faster, it has faster memory and the 128 shaders processors are clocked faster. But you will be able to play any game with best graphics on 8800 GTX anyways.

The GTX's "core" clock is 575 MHz. The Ultra's "core" clock is 612 MHz. Processor on the GTX is clocked at 1350 MHz, and at the Ultra its clocked at 1500 MHz.

If you are very rich and can afford a video card for 600$, go ahead, buy it, and donate some money to me :) If you will buy it, you will definatelly notice the difference, but in my opinion, its not worth spending 600$ on video card to play games.
