The amd 5000+ is produced on a 65 nm process, not like the first black edition processor, the 90nm 6400+. AMD 5000+ only use half amount of power thatis used for the 6400+. This CPU is faster than an Athlon X2 6000+ or Intel's Core 2 Duo E6550 if you overclock the 5000+ processor.

The price if very good. On newegg its only for about 150$ (check newegg banners on this website).
