The WD7500AAKS hard drive is extremely quiet. It is one of the quietest hard drives I seen. The only negative side of the hard drive is the heat level. This hard drive gets pretty hot after couple hours of use, so I would recommend you to get hard drive cooler or have good case airflow. Also, this hard disk does not include a 4-pin molex power connector. The retail price of the WD7500AAKS hard drive is $250.
