Honda Ridgeline Taillight and/or Bulb Replacement
In this guide I will show you how to remove rear taillight on the first-generation Honda Ridgeline. You will also be able to replace your reverse light, parking light, turn signals, and brake light bulbs. Replacement steps are very easy on Honda Ridgeline. The whole process should take you less than 5 minutes and it doesn’t matter if you replacing the tail light or just replacing your bulbs. I had to replace my tail light because it got cracked and some water was getting in it.
First thing you need to do is remove 2 bolts on the side of your tail light. The size is 10mm and I used wrench tool for that.
Once that is done, simply push the tail light towards the rear of the vehicle and the tail light should come out.
When the tail light is out, if you need to replace the tail light itself, twist open 3 bulb sockets and then twist them into your new taillight. If you just need to replace a bulb, twist out the bulb socket you need and then remove the bulb you need. Top of the tail light has signal light bulb, middle one is reverse light bulb, and bottom is parking and brake light bulb.
Reinstall everything in the reverse order. If you have any questions feel free to let me know.
