Assassins Creed III (3) Review
The new game series with assassins feature civil war and history of America. Was the game successful at showing the story of US? Read full review... As many of you probably know, Assassins Creed is all about freedom fighters. First 3 games were about freedom in Europe from Catholic system, but now Assassins come to America. England is at war with Natives and Americans. Most of the game you play as a Native Indian, who joins Assassins.
Well lets look at each section
Graphics in this game are definitely awesome. All details are very well drafted. You can see bunch of animals in the forest. So many that I don't even remember exact number. The environment in the cities do make me feel like I am walking around in 1700s of America. Without any doubt, I'll give the graphics score 10 out of 10.
Just like previous Assassins Creed games, soundtrack goes well with the game. It makes player feel like he is the one living the story. Score is 9 out of 10.
This game is packed with action just like previous series, the only negative side is there is a lot of forest to travel, which can cut action through out the game. Game gets kind of complicated sometimes. There were numerous times when I had to travel from one city to another and got stock for a long time in forests. It also took me awhile to learn how to buy weapons in this game. Keep in mind that this is the 3rd Assassins Creed game I played. Score for action is 7 out of 10.
I'd say the only thing that is not very realistic is how good Assassins can jump, but in my opinion it's still possible to jump like that, if one has lots of training. Assassin fights pretty realistically, even though there is no reason for tons of soldiers wait until Assassin kills just couple to go and attack him. Score is 8 out of 10.
When I was watching trailers for this game, I thought I will see a lot about American revolution. It seemed like most of the game will deal with revolution and fight between Americans and British. Even though there was number of fights against British, Assassin works for Assassins and his people. The game is not patriotic towards Americans. You will enjoy it whether you American or not. What I liked about this game is they did not show Americans as best and perfect people. They also had disagreements with Assassins. The story little complicated comparing to previous Assassins games. I beat the game, but whole story was not completely clear to me. Score is 7 out of 10.
Overall game is definitely great. I'd say out of all games in 2012, this one falls in top 5 no questions!
