Hitman Absolution Review

It's been awhile since IO Interactive released new game of Hitman. If I am not mistaken, this is fifth Hitman game. Hitman has been a popular series, I am sure some of you seen movie Hitman as well. Is Hitman Absolution capable of continuing the legend of Agent 47? Read full review...
I don't know about you, but I beat all previous 4 Hitman games and all 4 of them were awesome. Even though I read somewhere that Hitman Absolution chronologically takes player all over the previous games. In reality, chronologically this game takes you after all previous stories.

Hitman Absolution Review

Graphics of this game are definitely awesome. There are some graphic and somewhat violent scenes, so the game is definitely for mature users. I did not notice any graphic glitches throughout the game. It does look like absolutely every character in the game plays some role. Only people that would stand in one place would be mostly security guards. Overall the game does a good job at placing you in any given environment. Score is 9 out of 10.

Even though there were no soundtracks in this particular game that I would download to my iPod, soundtracks went well with the flow of the game. Ave Maria from previous Hitman games will remind me of Hitman anytime I'll hear the classical peace of art. Score is 7 out of 10.

What I like about this game is that you choose your style to neutralize the targets. You can kill specific targets using stealth. Or you can go in and kill anybody you want. I tried both ways and found that stealth is harder as you need to know where to go, how to go, and what to get. Action plays same way throughout the game, you always play from a 3rd person view, but I did not get bored from that action as story keeps the game pretty interesting. I'll give it 8 out of 10.

Overall the realism of this game is pretty high. If you blow your cover and can't hide anywhere, you'll be dead. What's not really realistic, is that if you kill one guy, you can run far away and hide somewhere, sometime later you can get out if cover and do the same again. Your enemies in this game are usually smart, but they sure have memory loss issues as even if you kill bunch of enemies, remaining of them will keep looking for you, but they won't always stick together. The best part about realism here is the way characters can identify you. If you dressed as a police officer, other police officer will identify that you are not from his department much faster than another random citizen. Same applies to any other character. Score is 9 out of 10.

Last but no least is the story. Just like previous Hitman games, this one has an interesting story. I won't spoil you the story, but it starts with Agent 47 been ordered to kill Diana and kidnap a child that was residing at the house. There are some tweaks in the story and the story does make game go with a flow. Score is 8 out of 10.

I don't play much games nowadays since I am slowly getting old. There are not many games that are fun for me, but this game sure did keep me entertained. To me this game is definitely in the top 5 PC games of 2012.
