Battlefield 1 Review

I don’t play many computer games, but Battlefield got my attention. It’s been awhile since there was a good multiplayer game.
Before getting the game, make sure your computer meets system requirements.

Battlefield 1 Review

I love that Battlefield game series cover world war era to today’s times. I personally don’t like Call of Duty’s current games with future technology etc., but it’s just me. I am sure there are many people who enjoy sci-fi etc.

SINGLE PLAYER

Battlefield 1 Review

Single player in battlefield is very short. You play on a plane, on a tank, in some metal armor, and on a horse. Don’t get me wrong, it was fun, but Battlefield 1 was made definitely not for single player. I like how the game show veterans explaining or remembering their past and sharing it with their family members. You are listening to the story and go back in time, playing them in the world war era. Score is 7 out of 10.

MULTIPLAYER

Battlefield 1 Review

That’s where all the fun at. There are many game modes and you can customize your weapon, perks, etc. I myself never had any issues with connecting to servers or getting kicked out. I played for 2 weeks and never had connectivity issues. I like that some modes support up to 64 players. For me, more players in one map make game so much more exciting. I also did not witness any hacking or cheating in the game. I think I will play multiplayer Battlefield for a really long time. Just like prior Battlefield and Call of Duty games, you advance in the game and your rank will go up. Do upgrade weapon in Scout class for example, you’ll have to work your way in Scout class, so don’t expect to get better Assault weapon when all you do is using Sniper rifle. Multiplayer score is 10 out of 10.

GRAPHICS

Battlefield 1 Review

This game has superior graphics. I played it on 4k high settings and was amazed. Some scenes felt like I was watching Discovery HD channel. I don’t think any current game has better graphics than what Battlefield 1 has to offer. Score is 10 out of 10.

REALISM

Battlefield 1 Review

This game is pretty realistic. You using 1900s weapons, nothing unrealistic in that. If you get shot, it will take you awhile to recover your health. Of course in real life you won’t recover at all, but games are games.

RELIABIITY

Battlefield 1 Review

I used to have issues with Origin all the time with previous games. Only reason I got Battlefield 1 was because it was on sale ($40). I expected issues while downloading the game, installing, and playing. To my surprise, I encountered no issues. Once in a while in a game, there are some glitches I noticed, but nothing to cause me to stop playing the game. Updates are coming rather often, so I am sure most, if not all, issues will be resolved. Latest glitch I noticed is the game will not go full screen and if I change settings, it goes in full screen mode, but only for a short period of time. Fix is restarting computer. Score is 8 out of 10 for reliability for now.

Battlefield 1 Review

Now, should you get the game? I’d say depends on the price. As I said before, I got it on sale for $40. Game came out fairy recently, so $40 is a definitely good price. I’d recommend to wait for a sale and get yourself a copy. Now is a holiday season, so hopefully you’ll be able to grab a copy for a discounted price.
