Sony offers a new version of Vegas, the Vegas Pro 8. This software does really good job at video editing. Read full review. First of all, the price of this product dropped by $300. Before, Sony Vegas 5 used to cost $850, now you can get Sony Vegas Pro 8 for only $550. This software supports most type of files. Infact, I haven't had any problems working with any files yet.
