Splinter Cell Double Agent Review

Single Player

For those of you who don't know, Splinter Cell been on PC games market for many years. This includes Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, and more. In this game you play as Sam Fisher, the NSA agent. You have to make sure that nobody sees you or if you get spotted, whoever spots you should be knocked out.

In Double Agent you go undercover. Terrorist organization is planning on destroying whole New York city. You go to prison. Your undercover mission is to help one terrorist escape. After completing the mission, you get introduced to whole terrorist organization. They may ask you to do something that NSA won't want you to do. You will have two trust bars, one for NSA and one for JBA (the terrorist organization). Keep in mind that in order to get bonus mission, you must have at least 33 percent of NSA trust and complete at least two of three NSA missions which are: saving cruise ship, not killing CIA agent, and not killing Lambert. Overall game story was very interesting. The idea that you work in two opposite organizations is fabulous. Soundtracks are awesome too.

The only thing I didn't like is that it still had bugs in previous to last mission. The game was crashing, especially when I was loading last save.

Unfortunately I can't say much about multiplayer. Every time I go look for servers, it tells me that I need to get new patch and when it downloads and installs it, it tells me that I already have the latest patch installed. Since this game is kind of old now, I doubt that Ubisoft will release anymore patches.

This game right now goes for about $20 or you can get even a better deal at Amazon. In my opinion this game doesn't worth $50, but $20 is a great deal.
