Bose SoundLink Mini Bluetooth Speaker Review

Let's take a look at another nice speaker from Bose, the SoundLink Mini Bluetooth Speaker.
SoundLink Mini is a rather small speaker, but is quite heavy for it's size. It is heavier than my Creative bluetooth speaker, which is at least 5 times bigger than the SoundLink mini. Keep in mind that heavy can be good and it is good indeed in this instance.

Currently, SoundLink mini goes for about $200 in most stores, including Bose store, Apple, and Best Buy.

When you make a purchase, you get a SoundLink mini, instructions, registration card, cable, and a docking station. The way it works is whenever you are home, you can rest your speaker on the docking station and whenever you go somewhere, you just take the speaker with you. The speaker is capable of producing sound for about 8 hours on it's batteries.

SoundLink Mini has two speakers and two subwoofers (as far as I understand) inside it's enclosure. The sound is amazing. When you look at the speaker, you could not believe that box this small can produce a sound that great.

The price ($200) might seem pricey at first, but if you compare it to the sound you get, it will definitely be a good buy. Now, if you are thinking about buying SoundLink Mini or SoundLink II. There are couple things to consider. First of all, read my review on SoundLink II.

Now, here is my opinion. If you want a bluetooth speaker to stay home most or all the time, I'd say SoundLink II is what you need. If you want to travel a lot and bring the speaker with you to parks, beaches, etc., SoundLink Mini will definitely suit your needs. Even though the box is small, it can get loud if you want it to.

SoundLink Mini produces perfect sound. I would say SoundLink II has better performance, but not by much. You would not be sorry if you buy this product.

You can also buy covers from Bose store. You may want to use them if you plan to bring the speaker around. Currently there are three soft covers for $25, which come in Blue, Green, and Orange. Leather covers come in Black and Red for $35. Bose also has a travel bag for $45.

Producing that sound from box that small can be called a miracle. SoundLink Mini gets Editor's Choice as well.
