My view on electric razors

Back in the days, I used to use Gillette 5 blade razors and decided to switch to electric razors in order to save time and money. Was that a good decision or not? Read full article.
My view on electric razors

Like I said before, main reason I switched to electric razor was because of price. It is true, good manual razor blades can be expensive. I’ll first tell you what I did and then I will tell you whether it was good decision or not.

I decided to buy a good quality razor and purchased Panasonic for about $30. I was overall pretty happy with the purchase as you do not need to change the blades. The manufacturer states that blades have to be changed on yearly basis, but I used it for about 15 months and never had to change anything. Reason I stopped using the razor was because I lost the charger. Pros there obviously are that you do not have to change the blades. Cons are that the shave is not as clean as it would be when using manual blades.

Now that I had to get another razor, I decided to spend little more money for a good electric razor. This time I purchased $60 Braun razor. Overall, I was disappointed with this razor even more than I was with Panasonic razor. Even my coworkers noticed that my shave was not clean at all.

So I’ve been using electric razors for 2 years and decided it’s time to switch to regular manual blades. To make sure I get the best ones, I got Gillette 5 blade razors. Now, we all know they are expensive, but you have to look for a good place to buy them, may be you need to buy lots of them to get it for good price for each. I have a friend I buy it from and he gets them to me for half less than it is at local stores. (if you want the deal, just message me).

From what I understand, you need to change manual razor blades on average once a month, so it’s not that bad overall. So my final word is, stay with manual razor blades. Now, if you are manufacturer and believe your electric razor is better than Gillette manual razor, send me your item and I’ll review it for you. If it is better, I’ll definitely let my readers know.
