Tuniq Potency 650W Review

I just got another nice power supply from Tuniq. About 10 month ago I reviewed Potency 550W and it was an amazing power supply. Today we going to find out if Tuniq Potency 650W continues the brand of high quality power supplies or not. Read full review…
Tuniq Potency 550W was wonderful and had no negative points. The Tuniq Potency 650W comes in better and slightly bigger package, including power cord and screws in the separate box.

Tuniq is famous for making stylish products and in my opinion the Potency 650W is a stylish power supply. For some reason, probably by mistake, on Tuniq web site it says that the power supply is modular. Also, the power supply does not seem to be SLI certified. The power supply has on/off switch in the back and converts the power from 220 or 110 automatically, just like the previous model Potency 550W.

I just checked newegg.com and saw really good deals on these power supplies. Potency 650W is 90$ and you get 40$ mail-in rebate and potency 550W is 80$ and you get 40$ mail-in rebate as well. That sounds like a wonderful deal to me. If I needed a nice reliable power supply for mid-end computer, I would get Tuniq Potency 650W, especially with such nice deal as it is on newegg.

Pros:
80 PLUS certified
Active PFC
Advanced off-line cooling
Full circuit protection
3-Year warranty
Good price

Cons:
Not modular (as specified on official web site)
Not SLI certified (as specified on official web site)

The Official Product web site
Special thanks to Tuniq for supplying BestPCReviews with the power supply
